Agfa developed :Arkitex Foundation for newspapers who need better control of production but want to begin the automation process one step at a time. It provides basic workflow management functions but also provides an upgrade path toward total workflow automation from editorial to press. To accommodate the needs of different sized production sites, in addition to workflow tracking, Agfa offers computer-to-plate output configurations.
