The real time news browser that lets you share and publish
RAPID Browser allows content publishers to:
• View news in several continuously updated windows, each displaying stories and photos that match specific areas of interest. News can be wire agencies, Web harvested content, RSS feeds or correspondents emails.
• Share timely news content with individuals or groups of employees or clients
• Set up editorial workflows in the newsroom and its associated area
• Publish selected content immediately to web, Weblogs and RSS feeds
The system has also been integrated with Adobe's InDesign and InCopy, and with InDesign-based editorial systems such as SoftCare's K4, making RAPID Browser an ideal wire handling and content acquisition tool for users of those systems.
RAPID Browser eliminates the duplication of news gathering
RAPID Browser is the ideal tool for news browsing and for sharing editorial material across several production systems, saving greatly on costs. It can be combined with RAPID Publish tools for extracting text and images from full-page PDF files providing an effective way for multi-title publishers to share content irrespective of the editorial systems in use at different publishing units. RAPID Browser can even be used to generate additional revenues by delivering personalized real-time content and news clippings to paying customers.
