New feeder design
Thanks to a new feeder design, the Supra Saddle Stitcher can be completely custom-tailored to the individual customer demands. For speeds of up to 25,000 cycles per hour, the Supra is loaded with the 416 Flat Stack Feeder. For speeds over 25,000 cycles per hour, the Supra is equipped with the new carousel feeder. The two feeder types can also be combined.
Innovative stitching design
Each stitching assembly stitches only every second product, the innovative boxer principle provides reliable and vibration-free stitching, cutting the stitching time in half.
Innovative trimming design
Muller Martini has again proved itself to be an innovator when it comes to trimming: a new design of crank trimmer can trim products up to 13 mm (1") thick whilst running at top production speeds. Books are accurately aligned in the infeed and pulled through the crank trimmer with a double gripper. The upper and lower knives mounted on cranks trim the books at full speed. This innovative crank-operating system guarantees superior trim quality of every single copy, even at top speeds.
Automatic Presetting
Thanks to automation of the most important axes and the ability to save job data for repeat jobs, the Tempo 22 saddle stitcher is ready to go in no time...resulting in cost-effective production of your jobs. The size input automatically synchronizes the feeders, the stitching machine and subsequent machines. In the crank trimmer, the infeed and product length (head and foot trim as well as spine length) are automatically preset.
