• On the one hand, mobility on trucks makes it possible to automatically store printed products and make them ready for dispatch in a remotely located finishing facility. For example the "Lexington Herald Leader" in Lexington, Kentucky, a newspaper with a circulation of over 150,000 copies, had no more space on its premises for the growing number of products for insertion. Consequently, its mailroom has been relocated and now receives deliveries of daily newspapers and preprinted sections wound onto FlexiRolls.

• On the other hand, the size variability (products from postcard size to newspaper format can be handled without changing over) offers newspapers the option of receiving commercial products from heat offset printers on FlexiRoll stands (primarily bulky supplements).

Winding station
Depending on production requirements, winding stations contain one to four rolls. Due to their modular design, winding stations can be equipped with an insert module for winding up product-delivered on pallets or with a preinserting module.
