“True colours” can be achieved markless with the IDS

Intelligent Density System (IDS) is a fully automatic colour measurement and press control system for web offset presses. The IDS can consistently reproduce colours by charting the technical print properties of the press and taking the paper type into account. Major savings can also be generated in respect of both labour and waste. If the system is running in “markless” mode, your client has more net (sellable) printing surface available, due to the absence of the colour bar.
