The Ribbon 60 Ribbon Inserting Machine inserts up to two ribbons tightly and fully automatically into a book block. It can either be integrated between the three-knife trimmer and the bookline, or operated as stand-alone machine.

Patented ribbon inserting station
Air-jet-supported splitters carefully part the book block simultaneously at two positions. The book then moves into the ribbon inserting station where the ribbon and also the end that the reader will hold are fit tightly into the book block. The ribbon is unwound from its roll, cut to measure and fed into the patented ribbon inserting station.
