Patented loop formation
The Ventura Book Sewing Machine cannot fail to impress, thanks to
its patented thread-looping system which works with the aid of compressed
air. This type of thread-looping system shortens changeover time
quite considerably and therefore increases efficiency. The thread
is blown from the sewing needle to
the hook needle.
The loop which is formed in the slot is picked up by the hook needle
and drawn through the fold in the signature. The compressed air
nozzles are arranged to the left and right of the sewing needle
and can pneumatically move the thread loops to the left or right.
For even higher capacity, binding can be completed without lock
stitch with integrated thread sealing.
Quality control
The patented, optical scanning system built into the auxiliary saddle,
checks the opened signatures form the inside for correct sequence
and proper opening.
Clear, simple operator instructions
With the exception of the infeed hopper and the delivery stacker,
all size-related book width settings are motorized and reproducible
with the touch screen-operated Commander controls.
